Anne of Cleves

I am so saddened by Anne of Cleves her story when I learned about it. It always made me feel sorry for her. But when I saw that scenes of Henry acting so repulsed about her on the Tudors I realized that it was just HIS opinion which is hysterical in a sense really how Henry was so repulsed by her appearance when he was most certainly not the spry, athletic boy of his youth. And besides she really was an intelligent and beautiful woman. I think that Anne of Cleves could have made a wonderful, loving and lasting wife had Henry not spurned her. But luckily she did end up with her own estate and some cash when she agreed to divorce him. She was better off without him.
Her story got to me because I have felt insecure a lot too and even felt unnecessary rejected which is why I wanted to use the picture of Joss as Anne that I found where she looked really confident. Which was not that easy to draw since it was a really small image. But I really like the process of it so far.
